Although there is no definite end to the British Invasion, it significantly diminished in popularity in the 1970s when The Beatles to split. A second wave of British artists to arrive in America in mid-1970s; however, it didn’t hold as much influence and retained little popularity. The revolutionary era of the British Invasion helped to define modern music to this day and has helped make British music an international phenomenon. |
